About Bay Area Coaches and the ICF
Bay Area Coaches is comprised of four International Coach Federation (ICF) chapters located in the Bay Area. The groups cover territory from Marin County to Monterey County, as well as the East Bay and San Francisco. Founded in 1995, the International Coach Federation is the leading global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification, and building a worldwide network of credentialed coaches. Having more than doubled in size in the past 5 years, it currently has approximately 12,000 members in over 80 countries.
