Testimonial
"Barbara and her music have the capacity to open people to the rich heart space that is so essential to real meeting. She has helped me in so many ways as I've spoken to people about the power of conversation.
She has helped set an inspiring and inviting tone at the start, then accompany people into the space of deep dialogue, then help us celebrate at the end. She adds an essential and joyful dimension to my work with large groups."
~ Margaret Wheatley
I bring music and meaning to groups of people who are together to learn.
I offer keynote concerts, weave music through conferences, and compose custom songs for organizations and campaigns. Rooted in 12 years experience as an organizational development consultant, my songs explore the rich territory of change, community, vitality and balance.
Recently I have been “the band” for The Women’s Leadership Revival Tour with noted author and speaker Margaret Wheatley which has visited 15 North American cities to date. I also composed and recorded the tour’s theme song, Women Rise!.
Speaker and author Peter Block endorses my work in his most current book, Community: The Structure for Belonging. He and I co-present at numerous national conferences and leadership events in the US and Canada.
Other clients include Creative Health Care Management National Symposium, Best Buy Women’s Leadership Forum (WoLF), The National Wellness Conference, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, The International Coach Federation Conference, The Coca-Cola Company, and several large Canadian health care organizations.
A voice coach for over 15 years, I engage leaders from all walks of life to more fully express their power and presence.
I have produced six CD’s as an independent producer. A native Minnesotan, I now live across the street from the Mississippi River in Minneapolis.
Please visit Barbara’s website to learn more about her and her programs.
